Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a great, super light 5.9 pound, 1997 Casino VC Vintage Reissue with the orignal case and documents. Now a discontinued model, this was crafted in the Peerless plant and is considered to be one of the best Reissues available on the secondary market. The quality, playability, fit and finish are on par with the Elitist Casinos.
The star of the show is the vintage spec P90 pickups. Plenty of midrange punch coupled with a very responsive attack that is accentuated by the hollowbody overtones. Very dynamic, very versatile. Reading 7.86 ohms at the bridge and 8.0 at the neck, they spew forth vintage P90 tone all day. Not the high output P90s of later years. We got her strung up with 10-46 Nickels and ready to play. The neck is straight, the truss rod works as it should, and the frets play cleanly up and down the fretboard with no issues.
