Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Peerless Epiphone Riviera Reissue with the Mini Humbuckers and Frequensator Tailpiece. These Korean Peerless versions are not to be confused or compared to the widely available Chinese versions. these are far superior in fit, finish, materials, and the killer mini humbuckers that steal the show. You get a Maple Laminate top, back and sides with a Mahogany neck. These are some late run reissues that are hard to find for a good reason - people hang on to them because they sound and play so well.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .84"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C profile not unlike the vintage models. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 7.8 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 Nickel Slinkys. The frets show moderate wear but it plays cleanly up and down the fretboard. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 100% original. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
