Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present an Epiphone USA John Lennon “Revolution” Casino #189 of 1965 Limited Edition. Don't confuse these with the lesser "Inspired by" John Lennon offerings. This is the real deal, just like Johns. Thos was a top tier Epiphone USA offering born from a special arrangement with Yoko Ono and Gibson.
Gibson had Lennon's Casino in house and carefully documented every milimeter of it's dimensions, they cataloged pickup components, wood density, and a slough of other factors to faithfully recreate the legendary guitar. The cases these were shipped in from the factory were a poor fit and resulted in more than their fair share of headstock breaks. This one is no exception. The repair is top notch. You have to take a close look to recognize the wear difference on the adjacent original finish and a faint witness mark on the headstock overlay. It's very well done.
The truss rod works as it should and there is no wonkiness to the neck or fretboard.
