And it's only 6.7 lbs. The Fender Japan TL Vintage pickups deliver all the vintage Fender Chime and spank one could need, and the 3 way switch keeps it all under control. The vintage Kluson style tuners, steel saddles, and stamped chrome bridge are all original kit, as is everything else about this killer Blackguard.
The nut measures 1.67", .86" at the 1st, .92" at the 12th on an oval C carve. It's hard to see any detectable wear on the frets, but there is the beginnings of some tiny divots. The truss rod works as it should and there is no wonkiness to the neck. 25.4" scale, 7.25" radius, and 21 vintage spec frets. It sets up and plays well with low action and optimum relief. It's a great Tele with signature tele tone in a lightweight blackguard package. Only a couple small dings keeping this from mint. No chips. Comes safely packed in the padded Fender branded gig bag in the photos. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
