Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Fender Precision Bass model PB57 Made in Japan by Fujigen and sold exclusively in the Japanese Domestic market. It features a solid Basswood body, a Canadian maple neck, a Rosewood fretboard and the great PB Vintage Split Coil pickup that reads 8.15k ohms and delivers tons of room filling lows to honky mix-cutting highs and mids. It's a great player.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .83"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a slight U profile that fills the hand comfortably and offers great access. 34" scale, 7.25" scale, 7.7 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with USA made nickel 45-105 round wound strings. the frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for a flawless playing experience on low action at 2.0 mm and 1.7 mm. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
