Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1993 Fender 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass model JB62 made in Japan by Fujigen and sold exclusively in the Japanese domestic market.  These 62 Reissues are some of the best values on the market today and far outshine their USA and Ensenada counterparts.  This one features an Alder body, a Canadian Maple neck, a Rosewood fretboard, and the bridge cover that's almost never there.  Very cool.   The USA Vintage pickups are a very accurate recreation of that vintage tone.  The neck reads 6.95k ohms and the bridge is at 7.22k ohms.  You even get the optional strap pin location on the back of the headstock just like in 1962.

The nut measures 1.51", neck depth is .84"-.99" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a full C oval profile that fills the hand and offers great comfort.  34" scale, 7.25" radius, 9.6 lbs.  The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished.  Freshly strung with USA made Nickel 45-105 round wound strings and accurately intonated.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
