Northwest Vintage Guitars proudly presents a 1962 Fender Precision Bass reissue model PB62-70US from the Vintage Collection and featuring a 3 tone Sunburst finish on the resonant Alder body. We love the thick, dark Rosewood fretboards on these reissues. This was the top of the line PBass from Fender Japan and the US Pickups are the same ones used in some USA Corona manufactured models. You get a Canadian Maple neck, wide based paddle tuners, spiral saddles, and a dark 3D Tortoise pickguard. If you're looking for a top shelf Fender PBass that won't break the bank, this is the one you want. Includes the gig bag in the photos with a receipt and proof of purchase from a Japanese retailer.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .87"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium oval C profile that feels great in the hand. 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 8.9 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished to perfection. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Action is set at 4/64" and 3/64" for a wonderful playing experience on the fresh set of American Made 45-105 nickel strings. There are very few scratches and dings as pictured. Overall very clean. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
