Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a mojo soaked 1962 Fender Telecaster Custom Reissue model TL-62B-75TX with the Texas Special Pickups. These renditions of the 62 Telecaster are made in Japan and feature all vintage style appointments including the Vintage style Kluson tuners, stamped Ash Tray bridge, Alder body and a Slab Rosewood fretboard with 21 vintage spec frets. This was part of Fender's Vintage Premium lineup and compares quite well to the American AVRI or Custom Shop Classic series. Seriously good craftsmanship and killer tone from the set of Texas Specials. And look at all that natural relicing from a well loved instrument.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .85"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a comfy Medium Oval C profile that emulates the vintage 60's carves we're all looking for. 25.5" scale, 7.25" Radius, 8.19 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. This received a fret level, crown, high polish and perfect intonation on a fresh set of Ernie Ball 10-42's. There are a lot of scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
