Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a very rare Fender Japan Jazz Bass in Original Lake Placid Blue. This model JB62-58 is from the "Color Collection" and features a Basswood Body, Maple neck, and a Rosewood fretboard with 20 vintage spec narrow tall frets. The LPB paint code and the tort guard are factory original and a very rare piece of kit. You get those great JB-Vintage Single Coil Pickups that deliver that killer J Bass tone that has tons of low mid punch, great articulate highs, room filling lows, and everything in between.
The nut measures 1.56", neck depth is .87"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the very familiar Medium C CIJ carve that we all know and love. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It's clean, freshly polished frets, intonation and action set. Plays cleanly with no issues. Comes safely packed in the non original vintage MIJ case in the photos.
There are scattered bumps, scuffs and bruises as pictured. 9.4 lbs.
