Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a gem from Fender Japan's Vintage Collection in this '62 Jazz Bass Reissue in Oympic White. She's a 2005 model made in Japan at the Dyna Gakki plant. These reissues feature a solid lightweight Basswood Body, a Canadian Maple neck, and a dark slab Rosewood Fretboard with vintage spec frets. It's loaded with the JB-Vintage pickups that deliver in spades. The vintage appointments continue with the wide based paddle tuners, VVT layout, and a dark tort guard with a deep 3D dimension. And let's not forget the classic Olympic White finish - our favorite.
The nut measures 1.55", neck depth is .84"- .95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's Fender's Oval C in a medium width. Really close to a 60's carve. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 34" scale, 7.25"" radius, 9.62 lbs. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
