Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a near mint 2023 Fender American Vintage II '61 Stratocaster in Fiesta Red. This version of the Amercan Vintage series pulls out all the stops. The dots have the correct spacing and they really look like clay. The Fender USA '61 Pure Vintage single coils are so impressive with tons of Strat chime and throaty, full mids with a myriad of tones available. You get a Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finsh over a solid Alder body, Maple neck, Rosewood fretboard, and a full compliment of vintage appointments. And this one has no play wear, the patch over the trem arm mount, and every little bit of case candy including the bridge cover. In fact, there is only one small ding as pictured keeping this from being mint. It's a tidy package in the vintage reissue brown case.
The nut measures 1.68", the fret depth is .81"-.93" on a medium C profile. The truss rod works as it should and there is no wonkiness to the neck. The relief is set for optimum playability and the intonation is set. 7.9 pounds. No disappointments.
