Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1985 Fender Boxer Telecaster from their Contemporary Series with the original gig bag.  The boxer guitar line features a Solid Alder Body, Maple Neck, and a one piece Maple neck with a dark Rosewood fretboard.  The Dragstar 08HR Humbuckers are exceptionally clear and articulate with a chewy thickness.  They read in the PAF range at around 7.5 ohms.  The TBX tone control gives excellent tonal range and the coil split is a nice touch.   Schaller made the Fender System 1 tremolo unit and they were fitted with the matching Schaller locking nut.

The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .84"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a nice medium C profile.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  It has received a professional setup, a deep cleaning, leveled, crowned and polished frets (a $250 value).  25.5" Scale, 9.5" radius, and 8.92 lbs.  Volume pot replaced, non original knobs and tremolo bar.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Comes safely packed in the gig Bag in the photos.
