Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Solid Ash Baja Telecaster that was designed by the Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, Chris Fleming. These are great Telecasters made in Ensenada by highly trained craftsmen with the best available materials. Chris wasn't going to hang his hat on it unless is was great. And it was, and so it is.
The Custom Shop Tele Bridge pickup and twisted tele at the neck are controlled by a 4-way switch and even includes an S1 switch for added tonal options. All the standard Tele tones are there plus a series setting in position 4 for more power. The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .90"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a chunky C profile with an ever so slight hint of soft V in the cowboy chord area. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. We love the vintage feeling steep step down on the headstock, nylon nut, and vintage Kluson style tuners. The 5 hole 1 ply pickguard, Pat Pend Ash tray Bridge, and barrel switch tip round out the vintage vibe. 8.45 lbs, comes safely packed in the Hard Case in the photos

If a hard case is not included, your guitar will be securely wrapped for shipment. The Aeris packing system keeps it safe inside a new shipping box made for guitars. Our shipments are fully insured and shipped via UPS Ground. We are happy to accommodate other shipping options prior to purchase, so just reach out.
