Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Japan Exclusive Fender FSR Quilted Maple Top Traditional II 60's Telecaster Custom Ishibashi Dealer Exclusive from 2025. We sourced this new from the store and it still has the plastic protecto film. These were made in very limited numbers for the Japanese Domestic market and none were shipped to other retailers. And like we said, this one is new from Ishibashi. It's a Sen Ash Body with a quilted Maple top that shimmers.
The TL Japan pickups are fantastic at capturing that signature 60's Tele tone with plenty of sparkle and spank. Very clear, very articulate. The neck reads 5.21k ohms while the bridge is at 6.17k. It's a great combo that's controlled with a 3 way blade switch, 1V, and 1T.
The nut measures 1.63", neck depth is .88"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's as close to a 60's neck profile you are going to get outside of the Custom Shop with a distinct D feel and a flat back up the neck. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with GHS 10-46 nickel strings and perfect factory spec action at 1.7mm and 1.2mm. 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 9 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It is in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original padded Fender gig bag and the original documents as pictured.
