They feature a premium Alder body, a quartersawn Canadian Maple neck, and a dark chocolaty Rosewood fretboard with 21 vintage spec tall frets. It's also equipped with Fender's Vintage Alnico 5 Single Coils that really deliver that Tele spank, sparkle and growl. Vintage Kluson Style tuners, the ashtray bridle and threaded steel saddles round out the vintage theme. These are some of the best Telecasters you can get your hands on for the money. We love the way the bold grained Alder pops through the Transparent Blue finish. And the double binding always adds a touch of class. And it's only 7.65 lbs!
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .85"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very consistent Oval C carve that fills the hand nicely and evenly all the way up the neck. There is a little fret wear starting, but we gave her a fresh set of D'Addario XL 10's, a fret polish, and perfectly intonated with low action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25.5" Scale, 7.25" radius, 7.64 lbs. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
