This is the C50TL model, not to be confused with the Fender Traditional MIJ series, or the Fender Classic Series. This is the top shelf telecaster made exclusively for the Japanese Domestic market by Fender Japan. It features an Ash body, maple neck, and an incredible medium U carve that is to die for.
The nut measures 1.68", it's .875" deep at the 1st fret, .904" on the 12th fret on a svelty D carve Neck with a 7.25" radius. If you enjoy the 50's U carve necks, but don't care for the girth and thickness, this is the answer to all your dreams. Very very little and almost imperceptible fret wear with no divots, no high spots, and no buzzing. The neck is straight with no wonkiness and the truss rod turns easily in both directions. She is set up with a fresh set of nickel 10's and ready to roll. 8.1 lbs.
The pickups are the Fender Japan Vintage Single Coils and they nail that mid 50's Fender Tele tone. Seriously good. The bridge measures 5.95 ohms, the neck is at 6.6 ohms. 1V, 1T, 3way, and no dark circuit. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos. One paint chip fill on the front.
