Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a wonderful and super clean Fender Japan Traditional 70's Jazz Bass in Torino Red. This 70's iteration of the Traditional Series features an Ash Body, a bound Maple neck, and a Maple fretboard with white inlays. A classic look only seen on Fender basses in the 70's. This one has been modded with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and they do not disappoint. Deep lows and present mids combine with defined highs to create a great tonal palette.
The nut measures 1.52", neck depth is .84"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. If you're thinking that's a very groovy familiar shade of red - it's the same color as the Starsky & Hutch Grand Torino. 8.9 lbs.
