And this one is in great shape with very little play time and gentle care. These feature a Basswood body, a quarter sawn Canadian Maple neck, and a bold grained Rosewood fretboard. Also included as original kit is the Vintage Single Coil pickups, steel threaded saddles, vintage Kluson style tuners, and vintage spec narrow tall frets. A nice package including the original warranty tag and Fender branded padded gig bag. And did we mention it only weighs 7.3 lbs?
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .87"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. This is the Traditional II U neck profile and it's as close to a 60's profile as you'll get outside of the Custom Shop. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25.5” scale, 9.5” radius. There are some scattered very small dings and dents as pictured. Most can only be felt or seen in the right light and don't show up well in photos, none have cracked the finish. They are small. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing on very very little play wear, new nickel 10's, and a fresh fret polish.
