Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a medium 32" scale Fender Jazz Special Bass model PJ-535 made in Japan at the famed Fujigen plant.  This E Serial model followed the JV line and carried Fender Japan through 1989.  It's so rare to find the early 32" scale version in such good shape.  Sure there's a few bumps and bruises, but she's a looker.  The tonewood selections are an Alder body mated to a Mape neck with a Rosewood fretboard.  She's light and rumbly at only 7.17 lbs.  You get 20 frets on the medium scale, black paddle tuners, Fender PJ Pickups, and a 3 way toggle to control the whole outfit. Really nice.

The bridge "Jazz" pickup covers the midrange turf while the neck "Pbass" pickup rounds and grounds everything.  It's really a nice combo.   The Oval C neck profile starts at .82" at the first fret and measures .95" at the twelfth.  It's very comfy.  There's 2V, and a TBX passive tone knob.  It's all original and we set her up with a fresh set of 45-105 Nickel strings made right here in the USA.  The neck is straight, the truss rod is tight but can still be adjusted in both directions and flatten it out or give it a bow.  It's currently adjusted for optimum playability.   There's a neck shim installed to get better breakover at the bridge.  Comes safely packed in the original gig bag in the photos.
