Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Fender Jazzmaster 1966 Reissue model JM66 made in Japan by Fujigen and sold only in the Japanese domestic and select foreign markets. These never reached the shelves of retailers in the USA. The black "Tuxedo" combo is very rare in any decade. Includes the original retail certificate and Owner's manual. And this one is only 7.83 lbs.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .83"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the very familiar Oval C profile that most folks will find very agreeable. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.83 lbs. The pickups deliver that signature Jazzmaster tone and of course you get the dreamy rhythm circuit. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There only a few faint scratches on the back as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the denim padded soft case in the photos.
