Northwest Vintage Guitars is stoked to present a killer 1993 Fujigen built Fender ST-62G in 3 tone sunburst and featuring the USA Vintage Pickups. And it's a light and well balanced 7.79 lbs! Featuring gold hardware all the way around and a perfect 3 tone sunburst finish. The Freedom Custom Guitar Research is a guitar hotrod shop in Tokyo and it looks like they installed a Van Zandt single coil in the neck position and a high grade 5 way switch. The other two pickups are the original USA Vintage Single Coils. And that's a high spec solid Alder body.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .85"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a substantial C carve, bordering on Chunky and definitely not the thin Oval C of the typical MIJ Fenders. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There is plenty of life left in the freshly polished vintage spec narrow tall frets. New nickel 10 Slinkys play easily on med low action with no dead or buzzy spots. 7.6lbs.
There are scattered dings, scratches, polishing marks and finish fills as pictured. It remains a great player.
