Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean 1962 Fender Telecaster Custom Reissue in Transparent Cherry from the Vintage collection. It's an Alder body, a Canadian Maple neck, and USA Vintage Spec Pickups. The neck pickup reads 8.6k ohms and the bridge is at 6.14k ohms. The bridge delivers all the vintage Tele chime and spank one could want while the bridge is warm and elegant. Together they yield a chewy tonality. Includes the original Fender branded gig bag.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .86"-.93" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium oval C profile that most will find very agreeable. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.8 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. Action is at perfect spec 4/64" and 2.5/64 and it doesn't fret out when bending up high. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and polishing marks as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
