Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a super rare blast from the past in this 1981-82 Fernandes Burney ST80-RBM Ritchie Blackmore model Stratocaster in excellent condition. This was part of Fernandes Burney's Revival Series and they really are some of the best to wear the Fernandes name. Take this model for example - it's basically a mid 70's strat with working tilt adjust, block saddles, common color combo, and they even threw in their version of the F tuners on a big fat headstock. It was only sold in Japan and select other markets but not the USA so this is a rare treat to offer. Can you dig it?
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .88"-.96" on a comfy medium C profile. Action is set at 1.5 mm on the low E and it plays cleanly up and down the neck on freshly polished frets. The neck is straight and properly adjusted, the truss rod works as it should, and there are no neck pocket cracks. Very clean. About a 9" radius. The pickups both look and sound the part. They even used the correct gray bobbins and plastic coated wire with full size pots. It's a 70's strat. 8.3 lbs.
