The perfect setup, authentic patina, naturally rolled fretboard edges, and of course the light weight at only 8.37 lbs. This was our local Legend Luthier's LP for many a years and it plays like it belonged to a luthier. Better yet it plays great AND looks like a million bucks with one of the best monster tops we've ever seen and the authentic patina of a "good one."
The unpotted Custombuckers are magic. One of the best sounding pair of pickups we've ever heard with a deep, complex harmonic pallette that possess incredible dynamics. 8.26 ohms at the bridge, 8.48 at the neck. The nut measures 1.7" and the 1st fret depth is .92" growing to 1.02" at the 12th on a Medium C profile V1 style neck with a great comfy carve. The aforementioned luthier replaced the harness with a premium set of CTS pots with the perfect taper and optimally matched resistance. It's been set up and intonated with nickel 10's and the perfectly functioning truss rod has been adjusted for optimum playability.
