NW Vintage Guitars proudly presents a super lightweight 6.87 pounds Gibson Les Paul 61 reissue SG with the OHSC and the case candy. And the color is a fantastically faded Vintage Cherry that looks like the finish has aged over the decades.
This one has our favorite option for an SG; a small pickguard bridge and tailpiece. No nonsense and dependable. It's a two piece center seam Mahogany body with a one piece Mahogany neck and a gorgeous dark Rosewood fretboard and a long neck tenon. The Pickups are the 61 Burstbucker PAFs and they capture that 60's tone with a little more power on the top end. They read 7.91 at the neck and 7.71 at the neck.
The original Graph Tech nut measures 1.71" and it's .82" deep at the first fret, .92" at the 12th fret. It's Gibson's 60's slim taper neck carve and it feels like what a vintage SG feels like. The tailpiece is lightweight aluminum and the bridge is a Pat Number ABR1. You also get the classic Kluson style Keystone tuners.
This beauty came to us from the original owner and friend of the shop. It's very well taken care of with only a few small nicks and dings but remains in excellent overall condition. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the case shown in the photos.
