Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare finish 2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic in Honey Fade and featuring the original 496R and 500T Humbuckers that can go from 0 to 100 in a microsecond.  The 496R is a great clean Humbucker measuring 8.39 ohms and the bridge 500T can rip your head off at 14.64 ohms when dimed.   These are essentially 1960 Les Paul reissues with the ink stamped serial number and the "1960" embossed pickguard.  These are some of our favorite Les Pauls under $3k, bar none.  This one features a one piece slab Mahogany body.

The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .82"-.91" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's the quintessential 1960 C profile.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 9.4 lbs.  It plays cleanly on 3/64" and 2/64" action with accurate intonation and a fresh set of Ernie Ball 10-46 Nickel Slinkys.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents om the back as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Includes a later hard case with the original case candy as shown.  Tuners are non-original Grovers.  No disappointments here.
