If you don't have Mini Humbuckers in your Gisbson arsenal, you're missing out. Gibson's famous low wind minis yield an expressive tone you don't have in your humbuckers and P90's. The 1978 guitars are post-sandwich era and feature a solid Mahogany body with a solid Maple cap and a 3 piece Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard. The pickups read 5.9k ohms at the neck and the bridge.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .84"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a nice medium Norlin era C carve that's not too thin or too thick. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 9.76 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished and have plenty of life left. Action is perfect at 1.7-1.25mm. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case in the photos with one working latch.
