NW Vintage Guitars brings you a super rare Gibson Les Paul Junior Special in Gloss Cherry Nitro Cellulose Lacquer from 2002. These models were typically wearing a satin or worn finish, but this one has the finish from a 90's model. And it's fantastic. These feature a relief cut solid Mahogany body with mahogany necks. Just the perfect slim C neck profile and the right amount of road wear to give it an authentic vintage vibe.
The pickups are the Mojotone Quiet Coils and they are impressive and expressive. They do everything a P90 can do with more clarity and a wider treble range. Very Nice.
The nut measures 1.69", it's .86" at the first fret and .92" at the 12th. The carve is a Slim C but it does have decent shoulder. Feels great in the hands. The frets have a moderate amount of wear as pictured but still play great up and down the fretboard with no dead spots. 8.5 lbs, comes safely packed in the Gibson fur lined Taco Gig Bag.
There is scattered polishing marks, a ding on the face as pictured, and a few dings but nothing to write home about. It remains in excellent playable condition with plenty of life left on the frets.
