Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Greco VB-90 Beatle Bass made by Fujigen Japan in 1989. It features a Spruce top, sycamore back and sides, a Maple neck, and a Rosewood fretboard with 22 frets. These rare beauties feature a "Staple" type single coil with two rows of adjustable pole pieces. These are great sounding pickups with a clear round sound and plenty of depth. Lindy Fralin did a rewind video on these recently that shows the construction and design.
The nut measures 1.59", neck depth is .86".93" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C carve. 30.25" scale, 12" radius, 5.74 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with American made 45-105 round wound nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets have been leveled, dressed and polished. The neck block has been reglued. There are very few scratches as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded gig bag in the photos.
