Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you one heck of a great playing and sounding Greco SA700R with a Flamed Maple top from 1978. These 335 esque offereings were crafted at the famed Fujigen plant and remain some of the best hollowbody guitars to come out of the Lawsuit era. This one has seen some things in it's life and it wears the patina of a well loved instrument. The frets needed a complete level and dress, and there was plenty of of cleaning to do. She's shined up and ready for a trip to town. The Frets are polished and offer a great playing experience. The U-1000 pickups are some of the best PAF clones out there. Serious tone.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .84"-.89" on a medium C profile. The neck had a slight rise on the bass side, but that all dressed out and doesn't effect playability. She's got a fresh set of Elixer 11's, intonated, cleaned and adjusted. The truss rod works as it should and there is one replaced tuner. The binding was starting to deteriorate in places so we shored it up and stabilized it with CA Glue. White CA was used on the Fretboard binding at the 1st fret to repair deterioration. 12" fretboard radius, 24.75" scale, 8.43 pounds. One replaced tuner as pictured. Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
