Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a great Greco SA700WA ES335 style Semihollow Body electric with the PAF voiced Maxon U1000 pickups. These Fujigen Japan built Semihollows are amazing sounding and playing instruments and this one is no exception. The Maxon humbuckers are now legendary PAF style pickups that have a cult following all their own. It's got a 24.75" scale, 9.5" radius, and weighs in at 8.26 lbs. It came to us with a compromised neck joint that exposed the 4 dowel neck setting technique. We wouldn't have that and our Master Luthier fashioned a Gibson style Mortise and Tenon attachment and now it's as solid as a rock. It's got the fancy block pearloid inlays, an Ebony neck and a Maple laminate bound body. It all comes safely packed in the heavily padded premium gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .82"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a comfy medium C profile. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings and factory spec action at 4/64"-3/64" and a pro setup. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots. The low E tuner is bent, the binding is discolored and deteriorated in parts.
