Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean Greco Super View SV-800 in rare Natural finish made by Fujigen in Japan in 1980. This is a unique copy of and Ibanez copy of an ES335. What? A copy of a Copy? Yes, and dare we say it kicks ass over the others during the same time period. The PU-2 pickups are warm and expressive with excellent note separation and great tone. They read 8.05k ohms at the neck and 8.13k at the bridge. It's a 15.5" lower bout, flame Chestnut body with a 3 piece Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard with Mother of pearl inlays. The nut is part bone, part brass as was the parlance of the times. Comes with the Yamaha branded hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .84"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very comfy C profile that most folks find agreeable. 24.75" scale, 10" radius, 7.8 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 Nickel strings and low action at 1.5mm and 1.1mm. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for a great playing experience. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There is a few finish cracks and chips around the output jack as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
