Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a cannon of a 1973 Guild D-50 built in Westerly Rhode Island and in great playing condition.  Our Luthier has crafted a new bridge, a new saddle, leveled, crowned, and dressed the frets to a high polish, reglued the neck block and gave it his blessings.  It has been re-fretted before and there's a ton of life left.  The crown inlay on the headstock has been replaced.  It's a great playing cannon of a dreadnought that has that great sturdy and venerable Guild construction. It’s a solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard.  Includes the hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .86"-1.0" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively.  It's a full C profile that feels like a Guild.  25.5" scale, 20" radius, 5.4 lbs.  Freshly strung with D'Adarrio 12-53 Bronze strings.  Plays cleanly on factory spec 5/64" and 4/64" action.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches, dings, and weather checking as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Ships safely packed and fully insured.
