Northwest Vintage Guitars presents one of the coolest Ibanez Basses to come from the 80's in this Ibanez Musician Bass model MC2924.  It features a resonant dark stained Ash body with a Maple and Walnut neck through construction.  The top is carved in a true circular radius and every corner is sculpted for comfort.   This Fujigen made product features and ink stamped serial number which is extremely uncommon outside the J-Craft line.  This is a later version Musician Bass with a refined and elegant body shape that will become a staple in the Ibanez lineup in the coming years.  It's very uncommon due to the short production run and limited distribution.

It's a 34" scale, the nut measures 1.63", neck depth is .83"-.95" on a C profile that's very accessible.  The Ebony Fretboard is home to 24 freshly polished frets that exhibit only scant amounts of wear.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  You get 1 Volume, 1 Balance and 2 Pots to control the EQ-BII active shaping circuit.  Everything is original and it all works as it should.  There are scattered dings as pictured, some metal parts are tarnished, and a strap burn on the front upper bout finish as pictured.  Check out the Gibson Esque batwing strap pins - that's factory Ibanez.  8.7 lbs, comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
