Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an Ibanez Prestige Super Strat model RG2570E in Galaxy Black. The Prestige series of guitars has been a mainstay in the Ibanez lineup since the early 90's. This model features the Wizard neck in the 5 piece format with 3 Maple and 2 Walnut laminations and a 24 fret bound Rosewood fretboard with smoke mirror shark tooth inlays. It's a lightweight solid Basswood body with the mesmerizing Galaxy Black finish and Onyx Black hardware - our favorite combination. You also get the Edge Pro Trem system with a genuine Ibanez replacement arm. Everything else is original including the DiMarzio IBZ Humbuckers and the Onyx Black Gotoh tuners. And at only 7.9 lbs it won't break your back.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .74"-.82" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the aforementioned Wizard neck profile that the Prestige line is known for. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and finish fills as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. There is very little wear on the frets as pictured, but not much and not enough to warrant a level and dress. 25.5" scale, 16" radius, jumbo frets are .112" wide.
