Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a mutt of a Kramer with the Banana non-tilt headstock, a modified Gibson era body, and a pair of killer humbuckers. There has been an expertly executed neck pickup route added to house a DiMarzio Zebra Humbucker that reads 15.6 ohms and sounds fantastic alongside what appears to be an EVH style humbucker in the 14.5 ohm range. It's a potent combination that delivers a ton of tone. The neck looks like a MusicYo era banana with a light oil coating an the asymmetrical neck profile. The neck feels great in the hand and the frets are freshly leveled, crowned, and polished for an easy playing experience. The body is solid wood and has a control cavity shape of the Gibson era Kramers. We believe the 3 way toggle switch has been added and the Tremolo cavity routed to fit the Floyd Rose Original Tremolo System. It all works as it should.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .79"-.89" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. 25.5" scale, 10" radius, 8.0 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches, dings, and modifications as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
