Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean and cool 1985 Kramer JK1000 made in Japan by ESP. These feature a solid Maple body, a Maple neck and a Floyd Rose type locking tremolo system. One volume knob and one humbucker - no tone knob - because the tone is in your fingers man. The KP100 Humbucker reads 9.25k ohms and it can sing, scream, or tear your head off. Killer hair band era rock tone.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .80"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a C profile that starts slim and grows to almost a D medium up in the dusty area. 25.5" scale, 16" radius, 8.4 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings and low action at 1.6mm and 1.1mm. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. There are a couple neck picket cracks and one extends to the top as pictured. It is stable and doesn't affect tuning or playability. Comes safely packed and fully insured int the padded vintage gig bag in the photos.
