Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Kramer LK-3 SW made by ESP Japan in the late 80's and featuring a Power Rails in the neck position and the uber rare KLK-1 Tremolo system. It's a real clean machine that's all original. And the neck plate features a 5 digit serial with no letters so it's a bit of an oddity. The Humbucker and middle pickups are the Kramer VK Custom pickups and the 1V, 1T, 5-way, with coil split gets every combo you need. There is barely any play wear at all and it plays cleanly on new Nickel 10 Slinkys and freshly polished frets.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .83"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a flat D profile built for comfort with ample shoulders and a wide flat middle. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25.5" scale, 8.1lbs, comes safely packed in the vintage gig bag in the photos. It's a one piece maple neck and a Basswood body. Not a scarf joint neck.
There are scattered dings, dents, and scratches as pictured. There is a finish fill in a chip on the lower bout. It remains in excellent playable condition with a pro setup.
