Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Limited Run Fender Hybrid II 60's Stratocaster in Trans Black made for Shimamura in 2024.  This was part of a limited run of 40 guitars that featured an Ash body, dark Rosewood fretboard, and this eye catching finish.  The Hybrid II 60's series combines vintage styling with modern appointment and specs to make it one of our favorite offerings from Fender Japan.   You get vintage Kluson style locking tuners, a two point tremolo, and a 5 way switch to control the Custom Voiced Hybrid II Single coils.   Serious specs at a bargain price that compares well with anything from Fender USA.  The pickups read 5.96k, 5.75k, and 5.86k ohms neck to bridge and deliver lots of vintage Strat tones.

The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .86"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a Modern medium C profile neck that folks get along well with.   25.5" scale, 9.2" radius, 7.8 lbs.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys 10-46 nickel strings.  The fretboard has been cleaned and conditioned and the frets received a polish for a great playing experience.  Action is set at fatory spec 4/64"-3/64".  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.   It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
