Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and unbranded Zen-On/Morales style SG Special in a lovely Ox Blood Brown. It has very little wear and sets up great with perfect relief and low action. And those hefty P-90 style pickups pack a punch for sure. It's unbranded, but clearly Matsumoku. And these pickups and headstock graced many brands - most notably Morales by Zen on.
The nut measures 1.63", neck depth is .87"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an oval C medium carve. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 24.5" scale, 6.39 lbs. There's a fresh set of nickel 10's that play effortlessly on a clean and conditioned fretboard with polished frets.
