Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a vintage Japanese Morris D41 style Dreadnought model W-40 with a vibey vintage Amber finish. These Morris gems from the 70's are Martin inspired gems that are frequently overlooked in the vintage market. They feature high grade Spruce tops, laminate Rosewood backs and sides and high quality construction all the way around. And this one includes the hard case in the photos with the original tags.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .87"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a killer vintage V neck profile. 25.5" Scale, 16" radius, 4.56 lbs. Freshly strung with D'Adarrio Bronze 12-53 strings and action Medium high at 6/64" and 5/64" with 3/64" saddle height. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
