Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a stunning, near mint, Mosrite Ventures Reissue with a one piece slab Ash body with incredible grain and including the original case and hang tag. It's a nice tidy package that ticks all the boxes for Mosrite fans. You get the Moseley Vibrato and bridge, vintage Kluson style tuners, the machined chrome knobs, and expert craftsmanship and materials to create a faithful reissue. The one piece Ash body is incredible. Bold grains that elegantly fan accross the carved top and features a bold "Eye" behind the vibrato. The high gloss finish and a perfect three tone sunburst frame it like a work of art. And it only weighs 7.7 lbs.
The three tone sunburst theme continues up the Maple neck and even the headstock. 22 polished vintage spec frets and the diminutive double/triple/single markers grace the Ebony fretboard. The zero fret nut measures 1.61", neck depth is .82"-.86" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.
The electronics are all original as pictured and the L-2000 pickups read 8.93 Bridge and 12.45 ohms Neck. The original 3 position toggle switch with the integral chrome switch tip is in perfect working order. The original hardshell case is in perfect working order with all the hinges and latches intact. This beauty is in Excellent condition exhibits only a couple small dings on the upper and lower bout, slight tarnishing to some metal parts, and slightly shrunken pickup covers - all as pictured.
