They joined forces and enlisted the help of Fujigen to create some of the best Les Pauls to not come from Kalamazoo, Memphis, or Nashville. And at half the price.
These are faithful recreations of the 50's Gold Tops with PAF accurate humbuckers that read 7.3 at the bridge and 7.2 at the neck. The nut measures 1.70", the fret depth is .87"-.97" on a medium C profile. There's an amost invisible pickup ring crack repair and a replaced 3 way switch. The frets are freshly polished and have most of their life left in front of them. The action is low and it plays itself.
These were licensed by Gibson, so they had to use high quality materials. It's Solid Mahogany body with a solid maple cap, a Mahogany one piece neck, and the long neck tenon. Today, these are Gibson Custom Shop Specs. 8.9 lbs. Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
