Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an Orville LPS-75 from 1997 that was crafted in the famed Fujigen plant. The Orville by Gibson brand was a partnership with Yamano Gakki and this beauty was crafted in the famed Fujigen factory exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and very few made it to the states. It's a faithful recreation of a 50's Les Paul Custom with the nickel hardware, ABR-1 style bridge, PAF style pickups, a solid mahogany body, and a one piece mahogany neck.
It's a full C profile that's not to far off from a V2 '59. Nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .87"-.95" at the first and twelfth frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets are just starting to show wear and have most of their life in front of them. It plays cleanly and buzz free on freshly polished frets and a new set of American made 10-46 nickel strings. Comes safely packed in the non-original Gibson branded case in the photos. 8.9 lbs.
