Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an extremely rare and unique K Yairi OK-1E Butterfly Soundhole, barrel body short scale acoustic in wonderful condition. These rarities feature a passive under saddle piezo pickup and a volume and tone. There's lots of rustic features from the oil rubbed bronze tuners to the barrel woodgrain. Very unique, and very cool.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .83"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an oval C profile that will feel familiar to most folks. 600mm/23.5" Scale, 14" radius, 4.35 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It's got a fresh set of D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 12-53 strings and plays cleanly up and down the fretboard on barely detectable fret wear - if any. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. No case included.
