Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1989 Squier by Fender Model HM-II Made in Korea HSS Superstrat. These Korean made gems are renowned for their high quality construction and great necks. This is the HM-II with a Floyd Rose locking trem system, HSS pickup configuration, a Rosewood neck. It was a short-lived model lasting only 4 years and it's very difficult to find one in good shape. Thin Strat style Maple body, no pickguard, and a side mount Nuetrik style lo-pro jack. The stock pickups read 5.21k neck, 5.21 middle, and 13.14k ohms at the bridge.
The nut measures 1.63", neck depth is .83"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a thin but consistent C profile. 25.5" scale, 16" radius, 7.74 lbs. The frets have been polished, fretboard cleaned and conditioned. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
