Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an X-Braced Morris W-60 Dreadnought that's clearly inspired by Martin's D-41. All the same great appointments in an affordable and well crafted instrument. Featuring a Solid Spruce top, Indian Rosewood Laminate back and sides with a flamed Chestnut center strip on the back. Some may say these are copies, but they are more of a Martin inspired departure with features from a couple different models. Compares nicely to $2000 modern instruments.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .90"-1.01" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively. It's a vintage soft V neck profile that feels old in the hands. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. Two top cracks that are mostly finish cracks and don't go all the way through. 25.7" Scale, 14" radius, 4.93 lbs. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
