Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present a super clean 2011 Tokai Les Paul Custom LC-98S in 100% original condition right down to the Tokai Japan PAF Humbuckers that everyone loves.   Tonewoods include a two piece solid Mahogany body, a solid Mahogany carved top, a one piece mahogany neck and an incredible dark Indian Rosewood fretboard.  We love the sylistic spear thing on the headstock.  Classy.

The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .93"-.99" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a C profile that's not as chunky as a Gibson 50's U, but it will fill the hand nicely.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There's only scant fret wear on the 21 freshly polished frets and a new set of American made 10-46 Nickel strings with perfect intonation.  She plays great on low action with no dead spots or issues.

The pickups deliver that vintage PAF tone.  Measuring 7.42 ohms at the neck, and 10.1 ohms at the bridge, it possess the versatility to give you warm, open and woody tonalities at the neck and articulate clarity at the bridge.   And it can take your head off in the bridge position if you dime it through a 100 watt Marshall.  I can attest.

There are scattered faint scratches, polishing marks, and chips as pictured.  A finish crack near the nut as pictured.  It's not a fretboard separation, just a finish crack.  Repaired pickup bezel as pictured.
