Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Washburn New Model from the early 1900's or possibly earlier.  It features a solid Spruce top and solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides.  This beauty came to us with a great story.  Dad bought this as a very young lad and owned it all his life.  There are memories of Dad playing this guitar on Holidays and special occasions.  He owned a few guitars, but this was his favorite and he certainly cherished it.  When the bridge began to lift, a search for a qualified luthier took a couple months and a half day of driving to get it fixed right.  That same trip to the luthier was made when a crack opened up on the side.  The original Ebony nut is still there.  The Ebony Fretboard is sublime.  The sound is articulate, yet full and not overwhelming at all. Very well balanced with defined bottom end and beautiful warm clear highs.  Truly a recordable sound.

The nut measures 1.82", neck depth is .88"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a sharp V profile that feels old.  24 3/8" scale, 20" radius.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  The frets are low but level and crowned.  Action is at 4.5/64" and 2.5/64" with the saddle at 1/8".  It comes safely packed and fully insured in the chipboard case in the photos.
