Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1962 Fender Stratocaster Reissue Model ST62-70 with USA Vintage Alnico pickups and a solid Alder body. These are some of the best of the Japan made Fender Strats with expert craftsmanship and superior materials. This one features a bold grained Alder body, a Canadian Maple neck and a dark Rosewood fretboard. It's a 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, and 8.26lbs. The pickups read 6.1kohms at the neck and middle, 7.40k ohms at the bridge. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the vintage Japanese hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .84"-.91" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a perfect oval C profile that you'll love. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings and factory spec 4/64"-3/64". The frets have been leveled, dressed and polished. It has a new bone nut custom made here in our shop. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
